Genesis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( License# 44SC06272800) in the State of New Jersey. He is a graduate of Fordham University’s School of Social Service, where he earned his Masters in Social Work. Furthermore, he holds a certificate as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional; he volunteers regularly in the community; and he has training and experience working with me struggling with sex and pornography addiction.
Genesis is passionate about working alongside trauma survivors, as well as individuals and families looking to overcome challenging transitions in their personal, professional, and spiritual lives. He believes counseling can take you on a fulfilling journey of self-discovery, healing and spiritual awakening. Genesis has a dynamic professional background which has taught him first hand of the challenges of transitioning between career trajectories, including experience navigating healthcare systems, 13+ years in entertainment and live sound, and current ministry service as an audio, visual, and lighting director. Genesis is bilingual (English and Spanish) and eager to work alongside individuals and families battling depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, career/academic changes, and family issues.
