Jordan Tanksley

MA Intern (NJ, NY)

Jordan Tanksley is a Masters in Mental Health Counseling Intern at Wellsprings Counseling Center, LLC under the supervision of Esther Doh, MA, LPC  (License #37PC00482600), LMHC (License #12006).  She is completing her Masters in Counseling at Regent University, with an expected graduation in August 2026. Additionally, Jordan has a Masters in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Harding University.

Having years of experience helping people, Jordan practices a collaborative, person-centered approach that combines compassion with strategic thinking. She listens deeply, holds space without judgment, and supports clients in moving forward with confidence and insight. Jordan works with adults, couples, adolescents, groups, and families, creating a safe space where clients can explore healing, growth, and emotional well-being. Furthermore, she has experience working with survivors of human trafficking and individuals with PTSD and complex PTSD (cPTSD). Jordan recently completed an internship at an addictions clinic in Midtown Manhattan, providing counseling to formerly incarcerated and court-mandated clients navigating substance use and recovery. Her trauma-informed approach to counseling emphasizes trust, safety, and clarity, even in high-stakes or emotionally complex situations.
