Katlyn Coggins

Katlyn is a Licensed Associate Counselor (#37AC00625000) in the state of New Jersey and a Mental Health Counselor-Limited Permit (#P114308) in the state of New York, under the supervision of Esther Doh, MA, LPC  (License #37PC00482600), LMHC (License #12006). She holds a MS degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a BS in Business Administration from High Point University. 

Having several years of experience in clinical settings, Katlyn works with adolescents, adults, and couples. She helps them cope with and overcome depression, anxiety, relational challenges, eating disorders, career changes, learning disabilities and more. Her ultimate passion is helping people understand their purpose and find meaning in life. She strongly believes that creating a therapeutic atmosphere where her clients feel comfortable and safe is the key to effective therapy. She generally utilizes an interactive, strength-based counseling approach to help her client’s foster self-awareness, personal growth, and improve their decision-making skills. However, she recognizes that each person is unique and requires an individualized approach to counseling. Therefore, she does everything possible to tailor each session to the needs of each amazing person that walks through her door!
