Tanita Reams is passionate about supporting individuals who are experiencing a difficult time due to life situations or mental health concerns, guiding them throughout their journey to wellness. She earned her Masters Degree (MA) in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack College’s Alliance Graduate School of Counseling and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Berkeley College. Tanita is licensed in the State of New Jersey as a Licensed Associate Counselor (License #37AC00573200) and is supervised by Joanne McCarthy, MA, LPC (License #37PC00463800). She is also a member of the American Counseling Association. Tanita’s experience includes working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, trauma, sexual abuse, addiction, recovery, spiritual abuse, grief & loss, domestic violence, spiritual & emotional healing, and overall quality of life adjustments. Tanita believes it is her job to help clients identify, develop, and mobilize their own resources to successfully solve problems and cope with difficulties in their lives. She works hard to provide clients with a therapeutic environment where they feel safe, supported, and confident as they address their problems.
